More than just tutoring...
I believe that learning is a lot more more than what can be measured by a test. My one-on-one and group sessions are carefully tailored to each student's needs and goals, and we work together to reach mastery of the subject. When we approach learning from this angle, grades and test results follow naturally and effortlessly.
About Me
Hi! Great to meet you— let me tell you a little bit about myself before we start learning together.

I'm an experienced private educator and a graduate of Yale University, where I double majored in Music and Astronomy. During the pandemic, I saw students struggling to keep up with remote schooling— classes were disorganized, lacked clear communication, and students weren't getting the individual attention they needed. I decided to help, and started working with a handful of students in music, science, and English. One thing led to another, and pretty soon I was teaching nearly every subject to students ranging in age from 6-50, expanded my offerings to include group sessions, and provided guidance and support for students applying to college.

Students work with me for various reasons— for extracurricular enrichment, for academic support when they're struggling, and for reinforcement and practice with material they've learned at school.

I've always loved teaching, and have worked with dozens of students across the US & Canada in my private teaching practice. I've also served as a Teaching Artist for the Yale School of Music, have worked with students in the New Haven Public Schools, have taught students at all levels at the Yale Center for Language Study, and have directed co-curricular programs at Interlochen Center for the Arts.
